The alarm features a hush function that allows you to decrease the sensitivity level of the alarm for 10 minutes.

The smoke alarm comes equipped with a test button for easy testing and features a low battery indicator that alerts you when the battery needs to be replaced. Use the test button occasionally to check your smoke detector. This smoke alarm has a replaceable one-year battery, meaning you have to replace the battery after every year.

The sensor has a ten years lifetime.
