With the 85 dB loud alarm sound, you can avoid life-threatening situations. The smoke detector is equipped with an optical sensor. This reacts quickly to a glowing fire, triggers considerably fewer false alarms and is environmentally friendly.

The FSM-174 smoke detector is connected to the existing power wiring, so you do not need to worry about changing the batteries. The smoke detector has a sleep and hibernation mode. In sleep mode, the smoke detector is temporarily deactivated.

This can be useful if the power supply is no longer intact or the low battery indicator goes off in the middle of the night. The sleep button can be used to mute a supposed false alarm. To be reliably warned if a fire breaks out, you should fit at least one smoke detector on each floor.

As the smoke detector is installed with the existing wiring, you can connect up to 12 smoke detectors. As smoke rises upwards, the smoke detector must always be fitted to the ceiling, which is no problem with a few screws or a mounting plate. When the battery starts to run low, a short beep sounds to indicate that the battery needs to be replaced.
